Release Notes

Notifications, endless browsing, and a faster, safer insAIght Hub

July 7, 2026

A big couple of days for the Hub: your team's activity now finds you instead of the other way around, the Insights library scrolls forever, and the whole platform moved to the newest Rails with a clean security bill of health.

Notifications New

You no longer have to check back to know what's happening. insAIght Hub now notifies you — in the app and by email — when the things you care about change:

  • New insights — when a teammate publishes to your organization
  • Updates — when a published insight you follow gets revised
  • Comments — when someone comments on one of your insights

The bell in the sidebar updates live — no refresh needed — and each channel (in-app, email) can be switched on or off independently from your profile settings. Read notifications tidy themselves up automatically after 90 days.

The sidebar bell and its dropdown — unread marked with a dot, updating in real time.

Endless browsing on the Insights page New

Pagination is gone. The Insights library now loads continuously as you scroll — and it pre-loads the next batch well before you reach the bottom, so there's no pause and no "Next page" button to hunt for. Your audience, member, tag, and search filters all carry through as you go.

The next page of insights streams in before you reach the bottom.

A native iOS shell New

insAIght Hub can now run as a native iOS app. A proper tab bar puts Dashboard, Browse, and Profile one thumb-tap away, the layout respects the iPhone's safe areas, and links open where you'd expect. Notifications flow through here too — the badge on the bell stays live on mobile.

Fixes you'll actually notice Fixed

  • Links inside insights work again. Clicking an internal link within an insight no longer bounces you to the sign-in page — navigation inside multi-page insights is back to normal, on private and shared links alike.
  • Export downloads reliably. The Export action now triggers a proper file download every time.
  • Insight names are per-organization. Two organizations can now each have an insight with the same name without colliding.
  • Dashboard ordering. Recently updated insights now surface first, with a clear "updated" label.

Under the hood Improved

A full security audit and modernization pass, with zero behavior changes:

  • Security patches across the stack — cleared every actionable advisory, including two high-severity issues in the web server and an update of the MCP SDK from 0.4 to 0.23. Static analysis reports zero warnings.
  • Rails 8.1 — the platform now runs the newest Rails with all of its updated framework defaults, including stricter redirect safety.
  • Real-time infrastructure — notifications ride on Solid Cable 4 with database-backed delivery in production.
  • Deeper test coverage — the MCP integration (how AI assistants read and write insights) is now covered by its own test suite, and the new infinite scroll ships with tests for every path.
